Procurement manager

Primagaz is looking for a new Procurement Manager to take on the responsibility for all elements of procurement within Primagaz Scandinavia.

Duties and Responsibilities

As Procurement Manager you will report to the CFO and have the responsibility for optimizing the cost base with over >25 mEUR annual indirect spend over various product categories such as cylinders, tanks, valves and logistics. You will take the lead in Contract Management, Procurement Standards, Savings and be Business Partner to the various departments within Primagaz.

We are looking for a dynamic Procurement Manager to take lead on sourcing projects, negotiations and play a central role cementing a strong procurement function to continuous support the business. As Procurement Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying sourcing opportunities
  • Execute tender processes and lead negotiations with our suppliers.
  • Involved in projects across the entire spend base
  • Developing supplier relationships
  • Developing and performing spend analysis and opportunity assessments.
In short, you will be driving a vital role with a broad hands-on responsibility for all direct and indirect spend in Scandinavia.

Professional experience & requirements

Your background covers minimum 3 years of category management and/or strategic procurement/buyer experience supplemented by a relevant educational background. You are able to both work on larger projects and have a hands-on approach covering both direct and indirect spend.

As a person, you can work without too much supervision, are result oriented, proactive, accountable and energetic. You are a person who leads through drive, determination and resilience with energy, enthusiasm and a can-do attitude and behavior. Finally, you have good stakeholder management skills and the ability to work well on all levels of an organization.

We also expect that you are experienced in Excel and word and most important that you have persuasive communication skills in Danish and English, both written and verbal
