As Finance Manager who will manage and oversee the daily operations of the Finance department. The position is a key position, and you will  report directly to the CFO, lead a smaller team and be part of the Extended Leadership Team.

The position

The position includes several responsibilities, such as manage, support, and develop the financial accounting team. Furthermore, you will oversee the financial controlling of Primagaz’ financials and manage the year-end audit process and external auditors including preparation of supporting information.

  • Provide team/function leadership towards direct reports, peers, and management team.
  • Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with the accounting principles.
  • Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met, including VAT and indirect tax reporting.
  • Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control etc.
  • Optimize internal processes and workflows and implement best practices
  • Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy.
  • Align all financing and bank decisions in liaison with Treasury at HQ (NL).
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive control system in accordance with our internal Business Support Framework
  • Correctly and timely processing of financial derivatives as part of Risk Management
  • Manage working capital in close cooperation with other departments

Due to the responsibilities in the position, you really get the opportunity to work intensively with the finance area and the development of the finance function.

What are we looking for?

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, finance, or relevant field with at least 10 years of relevant working experience. Your communications skills are good - both in terms of Danish and English in writing and speaking - and in relation to communicating economics and financial matters to different target groups. Furthermore, you have Strong IT skills and have solid experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Business Central), BI systems (Power BI) and Microsoft 365 and Strong experience with accounting standards -IFRS and Danish GAAP (Swedish is a plus)- and taxation.
